Mary-Anne has many years of school SENCo experience and Louisa 13 years primary teaching experience, including reception.
This session is for those with children who will be starting reception in September 2025 but also for those with children currently in nursery who will be starting primary school in 2026.
We will be covering aspects such as:
- how to access support in nursery
- special educational support plans
- care plans
- details to consider when choosing a suitable primary school for your child
- what to expect when transitioning from nursery to school
- the reception curriculum
- helpful tips on how to prepare your child for school
